Ljubljana, 7 November 2008 – The 8th European Conference on Research
for Protection, Conservation and Enhancement of Cultural Heritage
(CHRESP) opens on Monday 11th November Ljubljana. The event is
organised, in close liaison with the European Commission, by the
National and University Library of Slovenia and the University of
Ljubljana. ZAG is one of the sponsors of the event.

 Portorož, 20 - 22 October - SURF 2008, the 6th international Symposium
on Pavement Surface Characteristics for Roads and Airfields last week
concluded successfully. The programme included 14 sessions on 8 topics.
170 participants from 39 countries attended the event and were actively
involved in detailed discussions which followed paper presentations
selected by the scientific committee.

Portorož, 20 - 22 October - The World Road Association – WRA - (PIARC) in cooperation with the
technical committees TC 4.2 and TC D2a, has assigned the organization
of the next Symposium on Pavement Surface Characteristics for Roads and
Airfields to the Slovenian PIARC National Committee. SURF 2008 is to be
held this October in the coastal city of Portorož.

Godovič, 15. 4. 2008 - The president of Hidria's management board, Iztok
Seljak, and the director of ZAG Ljubljana, Andraž Legat, met in Hidria's
chambers in Godovič to sign an agreement on future strategic
cooperation. Both parties emphasized that the agreement is a
continuation of a successful partnership and marks the beginning of a
long-term cooperation in the field of development projects.

aimed at presenting research projects funded by the City of Ljubljana.
The exhibition was opened on Thursday by Zoran Janković, the mayor of Ljubljana,
